material is put on the market. The roads so far treated with "COLFIX" are in an excellent condition, and apparently will not need repairs for some time.

To the incoming Committee we recommend the

early execution of the following work:-

that Ecxford Road,

Fergusson Road, and the

Eastern section of the Broadway,

be resurfaced with "COLFIX" at as early a date as possible.

EXTRACT OF SHANGHAI'S LETTER NO. 158 07 31ST MAY 19 29.

In the course of conversation with Mr. Inston of the Consulate, we enquired after the "COLFIX GROUT" at Nagasaki. He informed us that the material is doing its job very satisfactorily.

EXTRACT OF MANILA'S LETTER NO. 63 OF 6TH JUNE 1929.

On the 4th instant I got in touch with Mr. Clark and accompanied him to the small section of road which was laid at the Manila Gas Corporation on 9th September 1927. Mr. Clark was very pleased with the small section of road laid and he advised me that he would go into the matter and see if it was not possible to lay a larger section on one of their roads in the very near future, to give him an actual test under heavy traffic.
